PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the costs of the controller for the game machines and the game machine by reducing the capacity of the harness connected to a number of LEDs within each game machine and improving the work of drawing it around in the production of the game machines. SOLUTION: The controller 100 for controlling the game machines is constituted of the main control board 102, the sub control board 104, a relay board 135 connected to the sub control board 104. The sub control board 104 has a control means which receives the control command signal to be transmitted from the main control board to carry out the controls for the performances of the games including the image display control and the voice output control of the game machine based on the control command signal. The relay board 135 has an LED control means which receives one or a plurality of serial signals to be outputted from the sub control board 104 to control the lighting of a plurality of LEDs or lamps installed at a plurality of locations of the game machine and a plurality of connectors for the LEDs for outputting a plurality of LED drive signals from the LED control means.
