The support frame (2) has a flat lid portion with downwardly-extending sides with catches (4) engaging in holes in a switching circuit board (5). Building blocks (6) and a board-to-board connector (7) are mounted on the circuit board. The electronic switching module (1) is mounted on an earth contact (11) with a contact loading spring on the underside of the flat lid portion of the support frame.
