Lid (110) for housing (140) of electrolytic capacitor etc. with first (120) and second terminal (130) has O-ring (114) incorporated between lid and housing. Preferably, llid is of metal, or plastics, typically of aluminium or its alloy. O-ring is fitted in peripheral groove (112) on lid top side (110a). Lid may be deposited on step (142) in housing and secured by inwards bent outer edge (144) of housing, which reaches round O-ring and rests of lid top side, or is spaced from it. At least first terminal may be formed by through aperture (121) in lid with plastics bushing (122). INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for electrolytic capacitor.
