PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation technology which can realize accurate guidance and improve convenience even for a person who cannot hear voice or in circumstances making voice hard to hear by assisting guidance through a screen or voice. SOLUTION: A small-sized receiving terminal 20 is provided with an RF transmitting/receiving section 21, a control section 22, a setting section 23, a vibration motor 24, and a control button 25. The navigation apparatus N is provided with a present position detection section 40, a transmission information generation section 45, and an RF transmitting/receiving section 15. During route guidance, information on the distance to an intersection and right/left turns transmitted from the RF transmitting/receiving section 15 is received by the RF transmitting/receiving section 21.
