PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert a character string configured of the combination of a plurality of words expressing a predetermined object into identification information applied to a predetermined object estimated to be expressed by the character string. SOLUTION: Each of words configuring customer name is registered in a basic word dictionary ((A) reference) so as to be associated with a logical index, and a logic index set expressing customer name is registered in a name dictionary ((B) reference) so as to be associated with a customer code. As for a customer having a hyponymy in which the combination of words configuring the customer name and another added word is matched with the combination of a plurality of words configuring second customer name, an connotation code is also set, and when the inputted customer designation character string having the hyponymy is the character string obtained by adding specific words different from the inclusive words to the name of the specific customer, the specific words are registered in an unnecessary word dictionary so as to be associated with the specific customer code. In the other case, the customer name expressing the input character string is determined according to whether or not any unnecessary word registered in the dictionary is included in the input character string.
