摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a suitable gradation at a practical temperature, without being influenced by an environmental temperature in a liquid crystal display, in which a single pixel is constituted of a plurality of sub-pixels having respectively different light transmission factors. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display (31) in which one pixel is constituted of a plurality of sub-pixels (32a, 32b, 32c), a common electrode (33a) is arranged on one side of a liquid crystal (35), counter electrodes (33b) divided in each sub-pixel are arranged on the other side, and a grating-like third electrode (38) is arranged among the divided counter electrodes (33b). The input values with respect to all gradations are measured for each sub-pixel, at each of a plurality of temperatures, and the converted temperature input value calculated by interpolation or extrapolation is applied to each sub-pixel, on the basis of the measured values.
