PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent for an automobile body, capable of exhibiting anti-corrosive action and detergent action on calcium chloride (CaCl<SB>2</SB>). SOLUTION: This detergent for the automobile body contains an activator having an anti-corrosive effect as a CaCl<SB>2</SB>catcher. A compound which forms a visually-recognizable white precipitate by reacting with the CaCl<SB>2</SB>in a fouling component is preferably used as the activator. An alkyl phosphate is more preferably used as the activator. Further, it is preferable that the detergent has a pH of 6 to 8 and contains an abrasive. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
