The catalyst described in the parent patent containing V2O5 and anatase having a specific surface area of 10-30 m2/g. This addition claims that anatase of specific surface area 8-10 m2/g. can also be used as well, without impairing the selectivity and activity of the catalyst. The catalyst is applied onto a carrier, e.g. Mg silicate spherules.
