Disclosed is an aqueous suspension composition which is characterized in that particles of silicon dioxide and particles of aluminum oxide are dispersed in an aqueous medium, more than 90 parts by mass and not more than 150 parts by mass of an alkali metal silicate is contained per 100 parts by mass of the total of the silicon dioxide particles and aluminum oxide particles, and an alkali metal carbonate is further contained if necessary. This aqueous suspension composition is excellent in dispersibility and enables to obtain a cured product having excellent flexibility, adhesion, heat resistance, flame retardance, corrosion resistance and electrical insulation. In addition, this aqueous suspension composition produces only a few pinholes even when it is cured in the air, and the cured product is particularly excellent in adhesion and heat resistance.
