<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control apparatus, capable of precisely controlling a vehicle behavior according to the detection accuracy of running route information. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle control apparatus includes a running route information detection unit for detecting the running route information of a vehicle by receiving a radio wave from an artificial satellite in a receiver, and a behavior control unit for controlling the behavior of the vehicle, based on a control pattern being set according to the running route information. The vehicle control apparatus further includes an accuracy detecting means (steps S11-S14) for detecting the detection accuracy of the running route information detected by the running route information detection unit, by deciding whether or not the signal received in the receiver from the artificial satellite is abnormal, and by deciding whether or not the vehicle is running in a place unsuitable for receiving the radio wave by the receiver.
