<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management system which can deal with the change of organization efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: The document management system (1) has a document management means (11) which manages documents. The document management means (11) acquires from an access control management means (13) which manages succession relation between groups, in response to an access request to a document from a client (2), group information which includes information of a currently valid group and information of a past group from which the currently valid group takes over an access right of the document, and solves the problem by using the acquired group information for the judgement whether the group to which a corresponding user belongs is included or not in a currently valid group having the access right to the document. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
