<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen supplying apparatus which can remove carbon monoxide, generated together with hydrogen in a hydrogen-generating process (fuel reforming process), with a simple constitution and means and rapidly supply high concentration hydrogen gas at a desired timing; and to provide a power supply system which has the hydrogen supplying apparatus, can perform quick starting and suppress the deterioration of power generating characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen supplying apparatus has a fuel reforming part 10 and a hydrogen storing part 20A. The fuel reforming part 10 is constituted of a vaporizer 11 for forming a gaseous methanol by heating and vaporizing a hydrocarbon-based fuel for power generation such as methanol and water, and a reformer 12 for forming a reformed gas containing hydrogen by a steam reforming reaction using the gaseous methanol. The hydrogen storing part 20A has a constitution equipped with a hydrogen storage alloy which takes in only hydrogen contained in the reformed gas generated by the fuel reforming part 10, stores hydrogen, and releases stored hydrogen at a predetermined temperature condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
