<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent flooding and to suppress the leakage of fuel gas to a humidification water supply side. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell system comprises steps of humidifying the hydrogen of fuel gas by supplying humidification water via a porous plate 3 disposed at the anode side which is penetrated and passed through with water to hold water; humidifying oxidant gas by supplying humidification water through a porous plate 2 disposed at the cathode side; and closing the inlet and outlet of humidification water supply passages by opening/closing valves 12, 13 through which humidification water flows, except for the time of water-containing work that makes humidification water penetrate into and contained in the porous plate 3 disposed at the anode side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
