PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent introduction of air to a fuel pump when a vehicle body is inclined, in a fuel storing device for an engine drive vehicle which stores fuel supplying to an engine for driving the vehicle. SOLUTION: Inside a tank 1 for storing fuel, a fuel introducing member 4 is provided to introduce fuel to the fuel pump 2. The fuel introducing member 4 comprises a tip member 4A interiorly having a fuel introducing passage 401 of which tip is opened and a connection pipe 404 of which one end is connected to a rear end part of the fuel introducing passage 401 of the tip member 4A and the other end is fixed to the tank 1. The connection pipe 404 is formed of a flexible material so as not to prevent movement of the tip member 4A when the tip member 4A is going to move downwardly due to gravity caused by inclination of the tank 1. The tip member 4A is displaced following displacement of fuel inside the tank 1, and keeps an opening part at the tip of the fuel introducing passage 401 opened in fuel. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
