PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a down pipe which facilitates forming and reforming work thereof, and is improved in appearance. SOLUTION: The down pipe 11 almost vertically extends along external surfaces 3, 4 of a building main body 2. The down pie 11 is formed of a longitudinal base member 13 mounted on the building main body 2, and a longitudinal decorative cover 15 which is formed separately from the base member 13, covers an external surface of the base member 13, and attached to the base member 13.
