PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a long existing pile by a small crane having a cutting means of a simple-structure at a low cost, even in a narrow place, the long pile conventionally being removed only by a large crane. SOLUTION: There is provided an existing pile cutting/removing device which is formed of a casing, a wire saw, and a wire saw lifting means. The casing has an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of the existing pile and excavates the periphery of the existing pile under rotating operation. The wire saw has one end thereof secured to a lower inner wall surface of the casing. Then the wire saw is tentatively secured to portions of the lower inner wall surface of the casing to be horizontally extended along the same, and then its direction is changed upward by a direction changing means. The wire saw lifting means functions to lift the wire saw upward, which has been directionally changed upward. According to the structure of the existing pile cutting/removing device, when the casing reaches a predetermined depth, the other end of the wire saw which has been directionally changed upward, is lifted upward while the casing is kept rotated, and therefore a front surface of the wire saw is press-contacted to a trunk portion of the existing pile and cuts the same.
