PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate production of a building board which has projected pattern sections coated with a color different from that of the other area in a manner not damaging the natural texture of the building board. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the building board 10, each projected pattern section 12 is formed of a surface area 14 and an inclined area 13 surrounding the same, and the inclined area 13 has minute asperities W formed thereon.
