PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purifying apparatus which miniaturizes the apparatus effectively by utilizing a dead space. SOLUTION: In this purifying apparatus 1 including a hollow fiber membrane module 20 in which a plurality of hollow fiber membranes 22 are packed in a state of bending in U-shape in a cylindrical case 21 and an activated carbon cartridge 10 attached to one end part of the hollow fiber membrane module 20, on the activated carbon cartridge 10, a circular protruded part 12a is provided which is inserted into a space between the periphery of a curve part W in which the plurality of hollow fiber membranes 22 are bent in U-shape to the hollow fiber membrane module 20 and the inner wall face of a case 21, and in a circular gap between the outer wall face of the this protruded part 12a and the inner wall face of the case 21, a seal ring 30 is provided which prevents leakage of a fluid from a connection part between the hollow fiber membrane module 20 and the activated carbon cartridge 10.
