PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wax emulsion type antifoaming agent causing no breakage of emulsion particles due to high share of a fan pump, or the like, when used after the dilution of an antifoaming agent and added in a process, by forming stable emulsion particles, capable of obtaining an excellent antifoaming effect for colloidal air in a liquid, also having excellent persistence of the effect thereof, and further causing no generation of dirt in a system. SOLUTION: The antifoaming agent composition contains an oil-in-water type emulsion wherein an oil phase takes up 5-60 wt.% of an emulsion component as a base. The antifoaming agent composition contains an emulsion stabilizer wherein a side chain derived from one or two or more kinds selected from polyoxyalkylene alkyl or alkenyl ether, and polyoxyalkylene alkyl or alkenyl ester, polyoxyalkylene aryl ether, polyoxyalkylene rosin ester is introduced in a resin obtained by polymerizing carboxylic acid having an unsaturated group by graft polymerization.
