PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for coating a building board having a groove part by which natural groove coating with stereoscopic effect is easily carried out. SOLUTION: In this method for coating the building board, a natural groove pattern coating film with stereoscopic effect is formed by spraying a coating material adjusted to have 2,000-300,000 mPa s viscosity to the groove part of the building board using a fine spray nozzle having 0.3-3.0 mm diameter at 0.02-0.3 mPa atomizing air pressure.
