PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for preserving an electrode for medical use which suppresses the loss of a water-soluble component contained on the adhesive surface of a conductive adhesive layer in the electrode for medical use when the electrode for medical use is preserved, stably keeps various characteristics such as an electric characteristic, removes foreign substances, which are attached onto the adhesive surface of the conductive adhesive layer so as to be the cause of deterioration in adhesive strength by repetitive usage, by transferring, and recovers the adhesive strength. SOLUTION: The tool comprises not less than one base bodies 11; and hydrophobic adhering layers 12 which are arranged in the base bodies 11, having the adhering strength which is larger than that on the adhesive surface of the conductive adhesive layers 31. In the tool, the hydrophobic adhering layer 12 is used as the one which is not welded onto the adhesive layer of the conductive adhesive layer 31, does not absorb the water-soluble component, holds the electrode 30 for medical use on the adhering surface, and removes the foreign substances, which are attached onto the adhesive surface of the conductive adhesive layer 31, by transferring them onto the adhering surface.
