PERSONAL TABLE

A personal table (10) is provided having a table top (16) supported by a support assembly (14). The table top (16) is preferably constructed from blow-molded plastic and the support assembly (14) preferably includes a first leg (30a) and a second leg (30b) that are pivotally connected. The legs (30a 30b) desirably have a generally X-shaped configuration when the legs are placed in an upright position and the legs can be collapsed into a storage position. Each of the legs (30a, 30b) may include a lower portion (32a, 32b), a body portion (34a, 34b) and an upper portion (36a, 36b) that is preferably selectively connected to the table top (16). The legs (30a, 30b), for example, can be connected to the table top (16) by inserting the upper portions (36a, 36b) of the legs into leg receiving recess (50) formed in the table top (16). The leg receiving recesses (50) are preferably integrally formed in the bottom surface of the table top as part of a one-piece construction. Desirably, a plurality of leg receiving recesses (50) are formed in the bottom surface of the table top (16) and the legs (30a, 30b) can be selectively attached to the leg receiving recesses in order to vary the height of the table.
