<p>The device has an illumination optics (5) and a light source (3) firmly arranged with in a housing (2). The light source produces a convergent optical path, which transverse the pupil of a patient`s eye and illuminates a background of the eye. The light source is arranged between the illumination optics and the eye. A power source is integrated into the housing and includes a switch, which serves as brightness regulator.</p>
