<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing foreign materials from a cell suspension with a simple operation in a short time and provide a cell purifying device for the method. <P>SOLUTION: The invention provides a method for removing foreign materials from a cell suspension containing cells and foreign materials and producing purified cells. The method contains a step to impregnate a three-dimensional porous material with water, a step to charge the cell suspension to the three-dimensional porous material, a step to introduce the suspension into the three-dimensional porous material, and a sep to capture the cells with the three-dimensional porous material while passing the foreign materials in the suspension through the three-dimensional porous material.
