<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for supplying dehumidified air intermittently, which has a dryer unit employing a hollow fiber membrane and satisfying both of its performance and efficiency even when operated intermittently. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus for supplying dehumidified air intermittently is used for intermittently supplying the air dehumidified by the dryer unit to a user, wherein the dryer unit 10 equipped with the hollow fiber membrane is used, a first purge pipeline 34a through which the minimum flow rate of dehumidified/compressed air is always supplied to the dryer unit to keep the performance of the hollow fiber membrane, and a second purge pipeline 34b through which dehumidified/compressed air of a quantity larger than that of the first purge pipeline 34a is supplied to the dryer unit 10 when a control valve is opened, are arranged between the dryer unit 10 and a storage tank 30 for storing dehumidified/compressed air, and a control part is provided which receives detection signal from a flow sensor 50 disposed between the storage tank 30 and the user, detecting the fact that the user begins to use dehumidified air and sending the detection signal, and which sends an open signal to open a control valve 38. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
