The control component for the controlling of a volume flow of a fluid comprises a housing (2) with a fluid feed channel (4) and a fluid drain channel (6). A shut-off component (12) with a third fluid channel (14) is designed to release a desired volume flow of fluid from the first to the second channel. The third fluid channel is constructed in such a way that with a volume flow through the third channel it leads to a change of direction of the flow in this channel. An independent claim is included for a mixing valve for the mixing of at least two fluid volume flows in which a control component is provided per fluid volume flow.
