<p>A method for intercommunication between networks having different versions of internet protocol, includes: judging the IP address type supported by the calling terminal or the called terminal or the IP version supported by the home network at call session control equipment, using the ALG/NAT-PT function only when the versions between two terminals aren't coincident, or else at the last call session control equipment in the end to end flow, this invention only starts conversion or uses the ALG/NAT-PT function when the IP versions between this node and the next skip node aren't coincident or can't continue communication without IP version conversion, in the other words, completes the ALG/NAT-PT conversion at the called side as possible as it can, reduces the unnecessary conversion and ALG/NAT-PT process, furthest reduces the using time of ALG/NAT-PT in session, decreases the pressure of the ALG/NAT-PT equipment, makes the efficiency of network intercommunication with different IP version better.</p> |
