The element (1) is punched out of a thermoplastic foil (2) and has two adhesive surfaces. The area exceeding the finger tip (4) is fitted with a non-sticky coating from underneath which can be white or transparent. The front of the foil (2) can be decorated with a stuck-on artificial finger nail or covered with colored or transparent nail varnish. A protection foil has to be removed before use.
