Fish fodder (I), for the pigmentation of salmons and trout in the fish farming, comprises water-soluble astaxanthin and additionally solubilizer with hydrophilic lipophilic balance (HLB) value of 9-18, e.g. polysorbate, apart from proteins, lipids, carbohydrate, vitamins and minerals. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a fish pigment comprising emulsifiers of E432, E435 and/or E433, where astaxanthin is dissolved in it; and (2) the preparation of (I). |
