A promotion assisting method comprising the steps of delivering a content as a free gift and announcing a primary promotion concerning advertisement, creating permission information on use limitation of the content delivered as the free gift in response to an access request of solicitation target terminal (50) possessed by a solicitation target, and delivering to the solicitation target terminal (50) the content, the permission information, and a program executed by the solicitation target terminal (50) after a limit time for which the content can be used has passed so as to permit the use of the content on condition that the solicitation target again performs the advertisement as the secondary promotion.
