Device and method for active power factor correction

A current regulation process, especially for active filtering and/ or power factor correction comprises a clock circuit component (T1) with an upwards converter whose input current and voltage stem from an actual/ideal comparison. A control difference is derived and the circuit compares this with a reference voltage (Vref). An independent claim is also included for a current control circuit for the above process.
