Installation for manufacturing plastic pieces with a coating having a reference that allows positioning a coating or sheet (1) on a substrate (12), this system including a tool for positioning and attaching the sheet on a frame (3) that consists of a bench with reference means based on the use of a light beam, as well as having a press (9) which on its upper platen (9.2) has means (11) for holding down the reference that attach the sheet (1) on the substrate (12) as the upper platen of the press descends, thereby forming the assembly, so that the reference is perfectly positioned and aligned with respect to the substrate (12) the entire process being automated resulting in significant savings in labour costs, as well as an improved efficiency in the attachment of the sheet on the substrate.
