<p>Production of a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic light construction part of density 0.3-0.9 g/cm3> involves injecting into a mold and foaming of a mixture which has been obtained by mixing in an extruder a thermoplastic melt, a foaming agent and reinforcing fibers of length above 25 mm and imparting shear so as to break the fibers into 2-20 mm lengths.</p> |
