Method for balancing the ratio Eb/l in a service multiplexing CDMA system and telecommunication system using this method

A method for configuring a plurality of transport channels of a CDMA system. The CDMA system includes at least one sending and receiving entity, each performing a rate matching step. The rate matching step transforms an input block of an initial size into an output block of a final size. The method includes transmitting, by the receiving entity, a plurallity of rate matching parameters, each being relative to a rate matching ratio for a corresponding transport channel. The method also includes receiving, by the sending entity, the plurality of rate matching parameters; and calculating, for each transport channel, an intermediate size Y'_i of the output block by multiplying the rate matching parameter by the initial size of the input block. The method also includes determining, by the sending entity, the final sizes of the output blocks, the final size of the output block for a transport channel i calculated on a basis of a maximum payload of a multiplexing frame and a ratio of a partial sum $\sum _{j=1}^{j=i}{Y}_j^{\text{'}}$ of the intermediate sizes Y'_i of the output blocks to a total sum $\sum _{j=1}^{j=k}{Y}_j^{\text{'}}$ of the intermediate sizes Y'_i, k being a number of transport channels. The method also includes executing, by the sending entity, a corresponding rate matching step, for each transport channel, by puncturing or repeating at least one bit of the input block on a basis of the final size of the output block; and multiplexing the output blocks on the multiplexing frame.
