PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To call up a plurality of IP telephones by one IP telephone when forwarding an incoming call from an analogue public line to the IP telephone. SOLUTION: An IP address of a forwarding destination IP telephone to which the incoming call from the analogue public line is forwarded is set preliminarily in an address table of an IP telephone forwarding device. When a call has arrived, each forwarding destination IP telephone that has been set is called up by a multicast function. The forwarding destination IP telephone which has responded first is allowed to become on line and at the same time call sessions of the other forwarding destination IP telephones is disconnected. A message "A has responded the incoming call from a source X" is transmitted to the other forwarding destination IP telephones. According to need, an IP address of a monitoring enabled telephone is set.
