PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and safely seal a sealing hole of a jacket chamber, without using a fusible metal, in a sealing device of a heat roller for sealing a sealing hole of a jacket chamber, with a gas-liquid two-phase heat medium injected therein. SOLUTION: This sealing device is composed of a spherical valve, having through-holes 20A, 20B and 20C partitioned by a metal thin plate 26, and a screw 18 for screwing and fixing the valve, by bringing it into contact with a sealing hole 16 that communicates with the outside of the jacket chamber 15 formed in the circumferential wall of a heat roller body 1; and the metal thin plate 26 is ruptured with a predetermined pressure rise in the jacket chamber 15, to release the pressure in the jacket chamber 15 to the outside via the through-holes 20A, 20B and 20C of the spherical valve and a through-hole 23 of the screw.
