PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming method for obtaining an image which is satisfactory for a long period by preventing image deviation caused by cleaning a rotating body for charging with a cleaning member. SOLUTION: The apparatus is so configured that a cycle of shake of a photoreceptor 1 in a direction of an axial line is the reciprocal of an integer of a time when a transfer paper 9 moves at a distance H between image stations.
