PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an organic peroxide having excellent heat-removing efficiency and safety and excellent in yield. SOLUTION: The method comprises introducing an organic phase containing a compound represented by RC(=O)X and a water phase containing a peroxide and an alkaline compound into a tubular reactor (microreactor), reacting RC(=O)X with a peroxide while Reynolds numbers of the organic phase and the water phase and in the tubular reactor are kept≤1,000 corresponding to a laminar flow state, and continuously taking out a reaction mixture containing a generated organic peroxide from a tubular reactor.
