PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting structure of a seat capable of easily supporting a seat without requiring a large space in supporting the seat when the seat is assembled to a vehicle body. SOLUTION: A seat 1 for a vehicle is a flip-up seat, wherein a seat back 3 is folded on a seat cushion 2. A pipe-like supporting frame 17 is installed in the width direction of the seat 1. A supporting rod 21 of a suspending device 19 is inserted in an end opening 17a of the supporting frame 17, so that the supporting rod 21 can cantilever the seat 1.
