<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine steering assist force by presuming a pump part operation oil temperature of a power steering device by a steering speed and a motor rotation speed. <P>SOLUTION: Steering speed Vh, motor revolution number Nm steering torque Th and vehicle speed Vs are read (S1) and difference (leak amount) of a cylinder volume variation amount (Vh×r×S) presumed from a gear ratio r of a gear mechanism for converting Vh and a steering angle to motion of a cylinder and a pressure receiving area S of the cylinder and a pump delivery amount (B×Qp×Nm) presumed from Nm and a pump delivery amount Qp per unit revolution number is compared with a threshold value X (S4). In the case of YES, a motor instruction current value (A×Th) is outputted as an appropriate oil temperature (S5). In the case of NO, it is determined whether or not (Vh×r×S) is larger than (B×Qp×Nm) (S6). In the case of YES, since the oil temperature is high, the motor instruction current value is decreased by a parameter C (S7, S8) and in the case of NO, since the oil temperature is low, the motor instruction current value is raised by a parameter D (S9, S10). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
