<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning filter device and an air conditioner mounted with the air cleaning filter device maintaining pressure (frictional force) applied to a turnable locking member (a stopper) for locking an air cleaning filter, suitably for a long period of time and easily mounting the locking member. <P>SOLUTION: In the air cleaning filter device, a mounting frame for fitting the air cleaning filter for filtering and cleaning air has a flexible part, and the locking member for locking the air cleaning filter fitted to the mounting frame is provided to partially come in pressure contact with the flexible part and to be turnable around the pressure contact part (to be turnable into a locking position of the air cleaning filter and into a lock release position).
