<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plunger holding mechanism capable of correcting axial deviation and inclination of a plunger, easily performing mounting work of the plunger and reducing the size. <P>SOLUTION: The state where an end face in one end side of the plunger 120 freely contacts with a cross head 130 is maintained by a plunger holder 110 via an elastic body ring 111 and a projecting part 122 of the plunger 120.
