<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to change the amount of harmonic distortion generation in accordance with a frequency in each harmonica degree. <P>SOLUTION: An input signal IN is supplied to a first characteristic approximate filter 13, a second harmonic generated by a first multiplier is supplied to a second characteristic approximate filter 14, and a third harmonic generated by a second multiplier is supplied to a third characteristic approximate filter 15. Adders 16 and 17 synthesize outputs of the first characteristic approximate filter 12 through the third characteristic approximate filter 15. A simulator 1 can simulate an analog device that a user wants to simulate by setting data based on a fundamental tone characteristic of the analog device, secondary distortion characteristic and a tertiary distortion characteristic in the first characteristic approximate filter 13 through the third characteristic approximate filter 15, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
