PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene film that is suitable for a capacitor having stable electrical characteristics without causing a problem such as a static capacitance decrease in a high temperature and at the time of applying electricity for a long period of time, by using a polypropylene film regulated in a mesopentad fraction and a melt crystallization temperature, and by optimizing the surface roughness of the film, and to provide the capacitor. SOLUTION: The polypropylene film for the capacitor is composed of polypropylene resin characterized in that the mesopentad fracture is 0.95 to 099 and melt crystallization temperature is 113 to 130°C, andΔd (thickness in micrometer method-thickness in mass method) of the film is 0.05μm or more and 0.25μm or less.
