PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide surface protective film for deep drawing use excellent in deep drawing processability, polluting no environment through undergoing biodegradation after disposed of into the natural environment, easy to incinerate, and emitting no toxic gas when combusted. SOLUTION: The surface protective film for deep drawing use comprises an aliphatic polyester resin composed of respective constitutive units of formulas(A) to (C) mentioned below and having a number-average molecular weight of 10,000-200,000. The formula(A) is O-R<SP>1</SP>-CO( wherein, R<SP>1</SP>is a bivalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group ). The formula(B) is O-R<SP>2</SP>-O( wherein, R<SP>2</SP>is a bivalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group or bivalent alicyclic hydrocarbon group ).
