摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display in which an air bubble is always present at a position irradiated with pulse laser light and a defect pixel is surely corrected. SOLUTION: A defect pixel correcting method for a liquid crystal display which corrects the defect pixel G of the liquid crystal display includes an air bubble generating stage of generating an air bubble B which is large enough to cover the defect pixel G nearly entirely in a liquid crystal material 30 at a position corresponding to the defect pixel G by irradiating at least one of a signal line 13 and a gate line 15 adjacent to the defect pixel G with pulse laser light L, and a dot eliminating stage of eliminating the dot of the defect pixel G by irradiating the defect pixel G with pulse laser light L nearly entirely before the air bubble B generated in the air bubble generating stage disappears.
