摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight glass block wall having performance as an aseismatic wall, capable of transmitting the light in the large area without being divided into a transom material and a mullion material; and its construction method. SOLUTION: This glass block wall has a grating-shaped frame body 21 for welding and fixing a ladder-shaped frame material 21a so as to form a plurality of rectangular space parts 21c capable of arranging a plurality glass blocks 22, stacking mortar 24 arranged between the mutual glass blocks 22, a reinforcing bar 26 fixed to the ladder-shaped frame material 21a, and a joint finishing material 28 arranged between the light transmissive surface sides of the mutual glass blocks 22. A through-hole 21e is arranged in a position contacting with a horizontal joint of flat steel 21b, and the grating-shaped frame body 21 is fixed to a skeleton of a building. The glass blocks 22 are stacked by the stacking mortar 24 by interposing impact protective means 27 and 29 between the flat steels 21b of a space part 21c, and the reinforcing bar 26 inserted into the through-hole 21e is interposed between the mutual upper-lower glass blocks 22.
