PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester polymer having excellent repeated weathering resistance, rapid color development and fading, high color denseness, and easiness for cast molding and laminate molding and its molded product useful as transparent materials and optical materials. SOLUTION: The polyester polymer and molded product thereof comprise a long-chain aliphatic compound having alcoholic hydroxy groups or carboxylic acids and their ester-forming derivatives at both of the terminals, a dicarboxylic acid or its ester-forming derivative, and a dihydroxy compound.
