PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feed cassette capable of ensuring the positional accuracy of a separation claw and reducing the number of components. SOLUTION: A burring part 111 extending outwardly in the horizontal direction is formed on a sheet metal member 110 extending in the vertical direction with respect to a bottom side of a paper feed cassette, and a separation claw 93 having a vertical part and a horizontal part is turnably supported with the burring part 111 as the axis. A cover 120 to cover almost all parts of a vertical part 93a of the separation claw 93 is engaged with and attached to the outer side of the sheet metal member 110. An annular projection around the burring part 111 is provided on an opposing face to the burring part 111 in the cover 120 to prevent the separation claw 93 from being drawn out of the burring part 111 by the abutment of the annular projection on the vertical part 93a of the separation claw.
