PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel inclination angle detector using an imaging device. SOLUTION: A prescribed amount of liquid 15 is sealed in a liquid containing means 11. The imaging means 13 images a prescribed range E containing at least the liquid 15 and outputs image data. A computational means 19 calculates the position of the liquid 15 in the prescribed range E and outputs the positional data, on the basis of the image data. Inclination angle dataθx andθy corresponding to the positional data Xn and Yn are stored in a storage means 21. A control means 20 reads out from the storage means 21 the inclination angle dataθx andθy corresponding to the positional data Xn and Yn outputted from the computational means 19 and outputs the inclination angle dataθx andθy.
